If you are charged with theft, it will be under Section 74 of the Victorian Crimes Act 1958 and for burglary, it will be under Section 76 of the Victorian Crimes Act 1958. Depending on the circumstances of the theft and or burglary heavy punishments can be imposed including jail. You need experienced advice and representation.
